| Halloween 2007, scary huh? |

Yikes!! I looked in the mirror one day and suddenly had gained lots of weight!! We all know that is not how it happens, but that was my perception. I work in a gym, how could this happen to me? I watch people day in and day out working with our personal training group Soul Personal Training and making great changes. I had a lumbar fusion of 2 levels 3 years ago, so I had already completed my physical therapy. I knew that weight training was ok, I just need to do it properly. Saddle Rock fitness has the added security of my physical therapists watching all the time. I just had too many reasons (excuses) keeping me out of the gym. It finally clicked, I had to do something. I had my husband take these pictures on halloween and decided that it was time. But I had chosen the WORST time to begin, the holiday season. I made a little progress through November and December, mostly I had started to develop a habit and pattern of exercise and eating "clean". Rob is my trainer, he was patient and kept me on track. In January we had the "no more excuses" talk and I jumped in with both feet. I worked hard and Rob kept my eating plan going for me.

| March 2nd, getting there!! |
| After 2 months of working hard I felt great and look better. Goal not yet reached but it is amazing what you can accomplish in 2 mothsn time with the right support! I was not buying any meal plans, just eating regular food but in the order and at the times that Rob prescribed on my eating plan. I could not have made this great of a change with out my personal trainer.
Before you sit back and come up with reasons why you couldn't do this too, let me tell you a little about me. I am a mother of 3 athletic boys (17,14 & 8 years old), working a full time (and then some) job, I am the vice president & marketing coordinator of Cherry Creek Little League and I sit on the booster club for Eaglecrest Baseball. As you can imagine I am always somewhere other than home, but I love what I do. Personal training does mean making the time for yourself. It was finally time for me to do that based on my halloween pictures above. It seems like it would be a major challenge, but it was really fairly simple to change the bad habits or foods to good ones. |

| Awesome Weight Loss!! |
This is me 1st week of May!!! 30 lbs down, having gained 11 lbs of muscle and literally lost 41 lbs of FAT. I'm not done yet, but very close. I am very proud of my accomplishment thus far. After having back surgery and having a "noodle neck" (lax ligaments), as my therapist calls it, I never would have thought I could work this hard in the gym ever again!! It is amazing what you can do under the right set of professionals. With my trainer and physical therapist working together to help me attain my goals I can do anything!! You can do it too!!
